Under the aegis of Navy Foundation Mumbai Chapter NFMC, annual Veterans Day Parade was conducted on 08 January 2023 at Marine Drive. The parade was led by three senior veterans aged above 85 years. The contingent included gallantry award winners and veterans of Indian Navy, Indian Army and Indian Air Force proudly marching in platoons, donning their hard-earned medals. Hon'ble Governor of Maharashtra, Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari, flagged-off the parade, in presence of Vice Admiral AB Singh, FOCINC WNC, Lt Gen HS Kahlon GOC Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa Area, RAdm AN Pramod FOMA and AVM Rajat Mohan AOC, MAO. The parade generated lot of enthusiasm amongst citizens of Mumbai that watched nearly 600 veterans, including those that fought the nation's wars, and Veer Naaris participating in it with great zeal and patriotic fervour.
