INS Rajali conducted a Veterans Meet on 07 January 2023 to honour and acknowledge our retired personnel and their families who served the nation and armed forces with commitment and dedication. A total of 165 attendees consisting of 96 veterans including one octogenarian, 11 Sahara ladies and 58 family members of veterans/ martyrs of 1971 war from nearby towns of Vellore, Salem, Nammakkal, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri districts attended the event. INS Rajali conducts this annual event for veterans, Sahara ladies and families of martyrs/ veterans to reinforce bond between serving personnel and the veterans. The octogenarian veteran, Ramaswamy Perumal, POUC I (Retd) present during event was felicitated by station. The senior most veteran present was Commodore Vijesh Garg (Retd). The veterans and their families were provided a guided tour of air station with a briefing on it's state of the art infrastructure and enhanced operational capabilities. Commanding Officer, INS Rajali interacted with all veterans, Sahara ladies and their families and assured them of continued support by Indian Navy.
