INS Sarvekshak, one of the hydrographic survey ships turns 21 today. The ship was built by M/s Goa Shipyard Limited and commissioned in Indian Navy on 14 January 2002. The ship is designed to undertake hydrographic survey operations and has flexibility for rapid conversion into a Hospital Ship.The ship has undertaken multifarious survey missions in India and abroad, notably in Kenya, Mauritius, Seychelles, Tanzania and Sri Lanka.
