A delegation of 50 student officers and seven Directing Staff of Army HCC from Army War College (Mhow) visited SNC, Kochi as part of Naval and Industrial Tour from 18 - 19 January 2023. The tour was aimed at exposing student officers to various facets of Naval training and initiatives undertaken at Training Command. The student officers were provided an overview of wide spectrum of qualitative training undertaken in terms of cognition, skill and technology alongwith transformational change of Indian Navy as preferred training destination for friendly foreign countries. During visit, HCC team witnessed state-of-art training infrastructure, facilities and demonstration of simulators in various training schools and establishments. An interactive session was conducted with CSO (Training), Commodore Upal Kundu and other key training stakeholders towards exchange of best practices and Tri Services synergy. The officers had unique opportunity to visit Indigenous air craft carrier INS Vikrant and interact with ship's crew.
