The largest biennial Tri-Services amphibious exercise AMPHEX 2023, was conducted off Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh. A large number of troops from Indian Army, amphibious ships from Indian Navy and aircraft from IAF participated in exercise. AMPHEX 2023 included complex exercises in all domains, which demonstrated and validated high level of preparedness and coordination between three Services to undertake full spectrum of amphibious operations.
