The passing out ceremony of 50th batch of apprentices was conducted at NSRY Kochi on 27 January 2023. 180 apprentices from different trades including girl apprentices underwent training at Yard during last one year. As part of training, they were attached to various technical workshops for on job training. Besides this, training visits to educational institutions, guest lectures and extra-curricular activities were conducted. A job fair was organised, wherein 78 apprentices were selected by various firms and companies. Rear Admiral Subir Mukherjee, ASD presided over ceremony and gave away the prizes. The 'Best Boy Apprentice' was awarded to Sarath KV while Bindhya S Biju bagged the 'Best Girl Apprentice' award.
