Indian Navy at INS Chilka has conducted Marine Orientation Course from 14 - 28 January 2023 for 56 personnel of CISF. The 15-day course was aimed to train CISF personnel with concepts and structure of Coastal Security and equip them with knowledge to take on coastal security threats. During the course, participants were imparted instructions on various naval subjects related to marine navigation, seamanship, boat handling, survival at sea, fire fighting and First Aid. Commodore NP Pradeep Commanding Officer, INS Chilka awarded certificates to meritorious trainees.
