Passing out ceremony of 35th batch of Merged Apprentice Artificer Course (MAAC-35) was conducted at INS Shivaji, Lonavla on 04 February 2023. 109 trainees including three from ICG and two from FFC successfully completed 117 weeks of training. The trainees were provided an in depth knowledge of operation and maintenance of equipment fitted onboard naval platforms. Visits to leading industrial units and Army formations were also undertaken as part of course. Commodore Mohit Goel, Commanding Officer INS Shivaji awarded trainees excelling in academics and sports. B Manikanta, LLOG (SC) was awarded CINC South Gold Medal for standing first in overall order of merit while Pradeep K Bhatt, U/ NVK(ME) was awarded Commodore’s Rolling Trophy for being adjudged the best sportsman.
