On the occasion of 18th anniversary of INS Betwa, 18 riders from ship covered a distance of 1800 km over six days to pay obeisance at the origin of river Betwa after which the ship is named. The motorcycle expedition routed via Sanchi Stupa, which is embodied in ship’s crest. The opportunity was also utilised to interact with youth and local populace enroute to spread awareness on role of Indian Navy and encourage them to consider Services as a career option. The expedition also strengthened spirit of adventure and camaraderie amongst crew.
