Indian Navy hosted an interaction with members of Navy Foundation (Odisha Charter) on 15 February 2023 at INS Chilka. 20 Veteran Officers along with their spouses attended event and were given a guided windshield tour of new training facilities and associated infrastructure at premier training establishment of Navy created for Women Agniveers. The visit provided them an opportunity to informally interact with maiden batch of Agniveers which proved to be an effective platform to bridge minds of 'past' with 'present', emotions, perceptions and exchange of ideas for future. On arrival, NOIC Odisha Cmde NP Pradeep welcomed all guests and briefed them on recent development of training infrastructure at INS Chilka. The veterans also had a vibrant informal interaction with current generation of officers and ladies of Station on myriad issues related to future of Indian Navy and various welfare schemes for veterans.
