Jungle survival training for Officers of 97th Regular and 28th SSC Naval Air Operations Course was conducted in wilderness, off Nadukani Hills in Thattekad, Kerala from 10 - 12 March 2023. The aim of exercise was to provide trainees with a realistic opportunity to hone their skills in jungle survival techniques, deemed essential in case of an eventuality and to further camaraderie and espritdecorps. Thirteen trainees from Naval Air Operations School took part in exercise. Additionally, various aircraft ex-Garuda were also deployed to exercise SAR drills. The usage of survival equipment and Ground-to-Air emergency codes were also exercised.
