As part of Indo-US Joint Technical Group (JTG) initiative, discussions were held under the Maritime Technical Working Group (MTWG), with senior officers of the Indian Navy on 14 March 2023 at New Delhi. The meeting was co-chaired by RAdm K Srinivas, Assistant Chief of Materiel (Dockyard and Refits) from the IN Side and Rear Admiral Lorin C Selby, Chief of Naval Research at the Office of Naval Research (ONR) from the US Side. The head of US delegation also called on Vice Admiral Sandeep Naithani, AVSM, VSM, Chief of Materiel, Indian Navy. During the interaction, areas of mutual co-operation were deliberated, with special focus on Ship Maintenance, Electric Propulsion and Ship Design.
