During historic PoP of first batch of naval Agniveers reviewed by CNS at INS Chilka, eight High Achiever retired sailors were invited as Guests of Honour. They were felicitated by CNS during PoP dinner and they also shared their experiences with young Agniveers. Amongst invitees were Chiman Singh Ex POCD I, MVC, a war hero of India Pak war in 1971, Gajanan Jagannath Mane, Ex ME I, Padma Shri Awardee, Harjinder Singh Cheema Ex POME, Founder of Cheema Boilers Ltd. , Shankar Singh Sisodia Ex POCD I, Founder of Mahadev Marmo Pvt Ltd, Darshan Singh Ahluwalia Ex CHELA, Administrator DPS Karnal, Avtar Singh Ex MCELR International Hockey Player and Coach, Harishankar Yadav Ex POELP Guinness World Record Holder for most Step-ups and Manoj Kumar Sharma Ex POELR Entrepreneur with 15 Cr Coy. They shared their experiences and exhorted young Agniveers to follow core values of navy ie duty honour and courage. CNS during their interaction with ESM appreciated their achievements and contribution towards nation building.
