As part of World Meteorological Day activities, a lecture on climate change was delivered by eminent scientist, Dr Randhir Singh at SNC, Kochi on 29 March 2023. Chief Guest for event was Rear Admiral Upal Kundu, CSO(Training). Dr Randhir Singh is a senior scientist at Space Application Centre, ISRO and a Subject Matter Expert in numerical weather modelling and climate studies. In his lecture, he highlighted impact of climate change on weather and water resources through various climatic models and prediction data sets. The lecture was attended by officers of various professional schools at Kochi.
