The Visakhapatnam to Tirunelveli leg (Leg 2) of the Sam No Varunah Car Rally comprising a team of 36 participants including Naval personnel and Veterans from Eastern Naval Command reached Chennai at 1100 hrs on 01 April 2023. The participants undertook several outreach programmes in the City of Chennai including a Beach Clean up drive at INS Adyar beach and an outreach programme at Greater Chennai Corporation CDH Anabagam Old Age Home and Rehab Centre for Destitute and Mentally ill. The rally is scheduled to halt at Puducherry today. This leg of rally will culminate at Tirunelveli on 03 April 2023, undertaking many outreach programmes enroute including Beach clean up drives, Agnipath and Naval recruitment awareness drives at schools and colleges, etc.
