Lamp Lighting Ceremony of Batch XIII, College of Nursing, INHS Asvini was held on 29 March 2023 at Agastya Auditorium in reverence to Florence Nightingale “The Lady with the Lamp”. The Florence Nightingale Pledge was administered to all present by Col Elizabeth M Varghese, Principal, College of Nursing. The ceremony is an auspicious event in every nurse's life as it marks a formal entry into noble calling of selfless service. The Chief Guest, Surg Rear Admiral Vivek Hande, Commanding Officer, INHS Asvini congratulated newly inducted nursing cadets and applauded them for choosing service to fellow beings as their profession. He advised them to utilise every opportunity the institution offers them to become finest in their profession. The Admiral also felicitated meritorious students.
