Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE) for a patient of anti-phospholipid syndrome was carried out at Blood Centre, INHS Asvini on 01 April 2023. The diseased plasma containing pathogenic antibodies was removed from patient's circulation and replaced with healthy plasma. Availability of this procedure at INHS Asvini has added a new therapeutic modality in hospital's armamentarium for treatment of various diseases.
