Mid-Career Interaction Programme MCIP for officers from all three services as well as civil services officers from IAS/ IPS/ IFS cadre was conducted at MWC, Mumbai from 19 - 21 April 2023. The interaction programme themed ‘Unification of Maritime Domain to Achieve Synergy in National Growth’ was aimed to apprise participants about criticality of unified maritime vision in national growth and promote jointness between armed forces and civil services. In addition to talks by subject matter experts on maritime concepts, operations and initiatives, participants also visited ships and submarines and various maintenance facilities at ND(Mbi). A special talk by representative of DG Shipping and a sea sortie were other highlights of the programme.
