Shri Giridhar Aramane, Defence Secretary, arrived Visakhapatnam on 25 April 2023 on a two-day visit to ENC. In addition to holding discussions with Vice Admiral Biswajit Dasgupta, FOCINC, Eastern Naval Command, the Defence Secretary was briefed on various operational activities and initiatives of the Command. He was also apprised about ongoing as well as future infrastructure projects being progressed at ENC. The Defence Secretary visited few naval establishments in and around Visakhapatnam and interacted with service personnel and defence civilians during the visit.
