The solo non-stop circumnavigation race commenced on 04 Sep 2022 from Les Sables-D'Olonne, France and finished on 29 Apr 2023 after 238 days and 14 hours.
Five years after being forced to retire from GGR18 owing to a back injury he sustained in confronting a storm enroute, the officer, with a titanium rod inserted in his spine and five fused vertebrae, aced the test of human spirit, mind, endurance, grit and determination by successfully completing the race today.
