Smt Rasika Chaube, IDAS, Financial Advisor Defence Services, during her visit to the ENC at Visakhapatnam 02 May 2023, interacted with VAdm Biswajit Dasgupta, CINC, ENC and was briefed on various Operational activities and initiatives of ENC. The FA(DS) inaugurated the state of the art Submarine Damage Control and Fire Fighting Training Facility - ' Rakshak', in presence of the CINC. In a major boost to IN's emphasis on practical training, the Indigenously designed facility simulates real-time scenarios for both fire and flooding emergencies, akin to an actual submarine. Mrs Chaube also chaired a SPARSH workshop conducted by officials of PCDA (Prayagraj), under the aegis of ENC, for all units under ENC, including the Veterans. The workshop created awareness among retiring personnel and veterans with respect to SPARSH which has been implemented as the Central Digital Pension Disbursement System for Defence Pensioners.
