To commemorate the 70th anniversary of INS Garuda the oldest Naval Air Station of the Indian Navy, a Blood Donation Camp was organised at INHS Sanjivani in collaboration with Indian Medical Association, Kochi on 04 May 2023. The event elicited an enthusiastic response from donors. About 70 volunteers from INS Garuda and other units of Southern Naval Command, SNC donated blood. The event was aimed at creating awareness about blood donation which is a life-sustaining and life-saving act.
