In pursuance to “Khelo India” initiative and as part of 70th anniversary activities, a morning walk cum games was organised by INS Garuda on 05 May 2023. The event saw enthusiastic participation of more than 700 personnel and their families which was flagged off by Commodore Sandeep D Sabnis, Director NIAT. Numerous fun activities and games including badminton, football, table Tennis were organised at the venue. Spirited and energetic response of the participants made it a memorable event. Khelo India initiative was truly imbibed towards creating awareness to embrace physical fitness as a way of life.
