VAdm Dinesh K Tripathi FOCINC WNC visited INS Sardar Patel at Porbandar and INS Dwarka, Indian Navy’s Forward Operating Base at Okha from 08 - 10 May 2023. He was briefed on operational readiness, upcoming infrastructure projects and best practices for maritime security by RAdm Sameer Saxena, FOGNA. He was also briefed on special projects being undertaken in line with GoI mission of Gati Shakti. CINC laid a wreath at memorial for unknown sailor at Porbandar and at Pratigya Sthal at Okha. He visited various operational and administrative facilities of Stations and interacted with personnel. In his address to men, CINC advised all personnel to be ready for any eventuality. He emphasised role of Armed Forces in nation building and urged everyone to work in consonance with PanchPran to make India a developed country. CINC, along with President NWWA(WR), vivaciously shared their experiences over a fireside chat, motivating all for diligence and perseverance in life.
