Team INWTC (Mbi), skippered by Cdr Tarandeep Bakshi won the President’s Cup trophy at Bombay Merchant’s Club race conducted by RBYC. VAdm Dinesh K Tripathi FOCINC WNC and Mrs Shashi Tripathi felicitated winners at prize distribution ceremony held at RBYC on 13 May 2023. Anand Thakur, CPO COM (TEL) and Satyam Rangad, PO (GW) of Navy Sailing Team won 49er class and Neki Ram AGLCOM (TEL) won ILCA7 class races. Wards of naval personnel, part of Junior Sailing Programme, dominated senior and junior categories in Optimist class. Master P Ramakrishanan S/o V Ramakrishanan MCPO II (CD) and Master Prateek S/o Manohar Singh, MCMECH II stood 1st and 2nd in Junior Boys category respectively. Ms Katyayani D/o Cdr J Ravi and Master Kshitij S/o Cdr Y K Sharma stood 3rd in Senior Girls and Boys categories respectively.
