As part of 70th anniversary commemorative activities, INS Garuda in association with NWWA (SR) extended assistance to Government Old Age Home, Thevara on 14 May 2023. The old age home houses more than 100 senior citizens from various parts of Kerala. NWWA members interacted with inmates at old age home and provided them with support including medical aid.
