INHS Kalyani celebrated its 61st anniversary on 18 May 2023. The hospital provides tertiary care services to serving personnel, veterans and their families from Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and adjacent areas of Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. The hospital has come a long way from its commissioning in 1962. It started as 60 bed sickbay and is now a 306 bedded multi-speciality centre. To cater workload, government has approved its upgradation to a 604 bedded Command Hospital. INHS Kalyani’s credo 'More than Health Care - Human Care’ is enshrined in its work ethics.
