Cadets of Royal Saudi Arabia Naval Force undergoing training onboard 1TS of Indian Navy underwent their first sea sortie from 18-19 May 2023 onboard INS Tir and INS Sujata. They were exposed to navigation in pilotage waters, anchoring, coastal navigation, seamanship evolutions including replenishment at sea. Sea experience onboard warship was the first ever sailing of cadets who are in their fourth term at Royal Fahd Naval Academy. The trainees will be undergoing extensive sailing as part of training till 08 Jun 2023. 1TS of Indian Navy is based at SNC Kochi, which imparts ab-intio sea training to Naval and Coast Guard Trainees.
