As part of activity towards G20, to promote Jan Bhagidari together with sensitising local communities about importance of clean and pollution free beaches, Mega Beach Cleanup Drive was organised by District Administration on 21 May 2023 at Ramakrishna beach, Visakhapatnam. A team of approximately 400 personnel from ENC participated in cleanup drive at RK Beach. The event saw a large-scale participation by General Public, NGOs, District officials and staff of PSUs. The event was organised to undertake cleanup of beach littered by human and nature's intervention. Plastic/ non-biodegradable waste from coast was collected and handed over to GVMC staff for further disposal.
