Indian Navy personnel from INS Netaji Subhas, under the aegis of NOIC (WBG), undertook an interaction and training session for West Bengal Marine Police personnel at Diamond Harbour as part of Coastal Security construct. Indian Navy FIC, which was deployed for patrol off Sagar Island and Haldia, made a stopover at Diamond Harbour jetty enroute and embarked the Marine Police onboard. Tenets of River Navigation and manoeuvring were also imparted to police personnel. The interaction served to enhance cooperation and coordination between key CS stakeholders.
