Fourth edition of IN-HAL Apex level meeting was conducted at SCOPE Convention Centre, New Delhi on 25 May 2023. The meeting was chaired by VAdm Sanjay Mahindru, DCNS and Shri Sajal Prakash, CEO(AC). This annual meeting has assumed a crucial role since inception in 2020 as an important platform for Apex body of both organisation to resolve critical issues of HAL fleet operated by IN which presently makes up to half of Naval Aviation fleet. A fleet review discussion of all HAL fleet issues of four MoUs signed between IN and PSU was held during the meet to chart way ahead and to develop in-house maintenance and repair solutions to sustain non HAL fleet of Sea King and MiG-29K aircraft. This is in accordance with GOI's clarion call of Atmanirbhar Bharat to aid Nation's self-reliance efforts and its rise as Global MRO hub. Detailed technical discussions were continued subsequently by RAdm Deepak Bansal, ACNS(AM) along with Shri Anbuvelan S, CEO (HC) and Shri Rajeev Agarwal, ED (CSandQA) from HAL. RAdm Vikram Menon, FONA, Goa and RAdm Janak Bevli, ACNS(Air) had also participated in Apex Meeting to arrive at in-house solutions for issues regarding HAL fleet operated by IN.
