Dr Mahendra Nath Pandey, Hon'ble Minister of Heavy Industries accompanied by Dr Nalin Shinghal, CMD BHEL visited WNC at Mumbai on 29 May 2023 and interacted with VAdm Dinesh K Tripathi, FOCINC, WNC. During meeting, discussions were held on strengthening Indigenous manufacturing in defence industry and promoting self-reliance. The delegates also visited Indigenously built destroyer INS Chennai and were briefed on BHEL India manufactured Super Rapid Gun Mount SRGM and Auxiliary Control System. The Minister appreciated state-of-the-art systems and acknowledged Indian Navy's commitment to principles of Aatmanirbhar Bharat and self-reliance.
