INS Trishul is on a visit to Durban, South Africa from 06 - 10 June 2023 to participate in a commemorative event marking 130 years of start of struggle against apartheid at Pietermaritzburg, Railway Station near Durban. The ship was received at Durban by Captain PR Dladla, Flag Officer Commanding (Officiating), Durban Naval Base with South African Navy Ceremonial Band in attendance playing military tunes. During port call, ship will undertake professional interactions and Cross Deck visits with South African Navy. In addition, ship will engage in social activities including Yoga, Walkathon, Indian Navy Band performance and visit of local populace to Ship.
