As part of various activities planned towards World Hydrographic Day, 80 NCC cadets from various NCC Directorates visited INS Sutlej, one of the specialist hydrograhic ship of Indian Navy based at SNC on 09 Jun 2023. Commanding Officer, INS Sutlej welcomed the cadets onboard. During his address, he brought out relevance and scope of hydrography in Maritime domain. He also brifed them on significant contributions of Indian Navy towards hydrographic survey in national as well as international regions. The cadets were taken on a guided tour of ship and provided a broad overview of survey procedure. They were familarised with survey equipment onboard and therafter operating procedures were demonstrated. The cadets had a memorable and enriching experience on varied aspects of Hydrographic operations.
