Dr Madhaiyaan Angamuthu, Chairman Visakhapatnam Port Authority VPA paid a courtesy call to VAdm Biswajit Dasgupta, FOCINC, ENC on 14 June 2023. The Chairman apprised CINC regarding performance of Port in recent years and ongoing efforts to further improve efficiency through development of State-of-the-art infrastructure. They also discussed various issues of mutual interest to Indian Navy and VPA. Highlighting the close relationship between the Navy and VPA spanning over last eight decades, CINC expressed his confidence over their continued partnership especially in light of proposed Naval Outer Harbour Project and basing of INS Vikrant at Visakhapatnam.
