World Hydrographic Day is celebrated every year to give recognition and publicity to arduous work done by Hydrographers worldwide towards safety of navigation and to bring cohesion in navigational aids used by marine community. In run up to the event, a quiz and painting competition was conducted onboard INS Investigator on 13 June 2023. The event saw enthusiastic participation from afloat units of SNC capturing essence of hydrography through their brushstrokes depicting significance of ocean. On completion of the event, a prize distribution ceremony was organised. The Chief Guest, Commodore Rajesh Kumar Yadav, NOIC(Kerala) awards the prizes to participants recognising their talent and contribution to event.
