Adm R Hari Kumar, CNS in his capacity as President Navy Foundation presided over 30th Governing Council Meeting and Annual General Meeting of Navy Foundation, a Retired Naval Officers organisation registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860, at New Delhi on 18 Jun 2023. The meeting was attended by VAdm Suraj Berry, COP, VAdm Krishna Swaminathan, CPS Vice President Navy Foundation, Adm RK Dhowan (Retd) Patron of Navy Foundation, Flag Officers and Serving Officers of Indian Navy, PCDA(Navy), Reps of PCDA(Navy) and PCDA(Prayagraj), Office Bearers of 17 Navy Foundation Chapters spread across the country and members of Navy Foundation Chapters. The members were briefed about latest developments and initiatives in Indian Navy. In addition, attendees were briefed about latest ESM welfare policies. The meeting included presentations on SPARSH, e-PPOs and ECHS. These presentations were well received by attendees. Discussions were held on agenda points received from various Chapters. Help desks were set up for Pension related issues and for registration on HANDSHAKE a web enabled software application that facilitates networking and interaction between Serving, retiring and retired naval personnel.
