33rd Steering Committee Meeting SCM on Warship Material Technology was conducted at NMRL, Ambernath on 22 June 2023, under chairmanship of VAdm Sandeep Naithani, COM, Indian Navy. The meeting was co-chaired by Dr. Y Sreenivas Rao, DS, DG(NS and M) DRDO. During event, ongoing Warship material and Air Independent Propulsion projects were reviewed. Additionally, NMRL proposals towards development of niche and advanced warship materials were deliberated for usage onboard Indian Naval ships and submarines. The SCM on Warship Material Technology is held annually to review and promote IN-DRDO synergy inline with GoI initiatives of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Self Reliance.
