SLNS Vijayabahu arrived at Kochi on 21 June 2023 for its maiden Operational Sea Training conducted by INWT. A planning conference to finalise the curriculum was chaired by FOST. Srilankan naval personnel will be trained on various aspects of navigation, bridgemanship, seamanship, damage control, safety and force protection measures. The visit of SLNS Vijayabahu and collaborative Sea Training by Indian Navy further strengthens Naval cooperation and inter-operability between two Navies.
