Leg 1 Days 1 - 7 of Indian Navy Motorcycle Expedition saw Sea Riders travel through Chandigarh, Jallandhar, Jammu, Srinagar and Gurez to arrive Kargil on 22 Jun 2023. The Sea Riders crossed two major tunnels, Chenani & Banihal-Qazigund, passed through Zozilla Pass and routed through Pulwama and Kargil War Memorials, paying tribute to our fallen heroes. They also participated in Yoga Day celebrations on 21 Jun 2023 at Gurez and interacted with a Doordarshan team there, highlighting role of Navy and aims & objectives of its engagement with Ladakh. Sea Riders also interacted with students and staffs at Government Senior Secondary Schools in Dras & Bhimbeta in Kargil district of Ladakh, spreading awareness on Navy.
