The 19th Operational Sea Training Conference OSTC was conducted by Headquarters Sea Training HQST from 12-13 Jul 2023. VAdm MA Hampiholi, FOCINC, SNC chaired the inaugural session of conference and released Annual Work Up Report and inaugural Newsletter 'Prakash-Sthamb'. OSTC is an annual event held to discuss important aspects related to Operational Sea Training of ships and submarines. The conference saw participation of representatives from IHQ MoD(N), Command Headquarters and all Operational Authorities of Indian Navy. Over the last three decades, HQST has relentlessly strived towards transformation of ships and submarines into Combat Ready, Cohesive, Credible, and Future Proof platforms for Indian Navy. As the Regional Centre of Excellence, HQST has undertaken 25 Work Up of ships and submarine from friendly foreign nations. Recently, the Operational Sea Checks of SLNS Vijayabahu was conducted in June 2023.
