NWWA (SR) at INS Agrani, in coordination with INS Agrani and Hindusthan Hospital, Coimbatore, organised a medical camp to undertake screening of congenital birth defects in children on 8 July. It was inaugurated by Mrs. Gursharan Kaur, President NWWA Coimbatore, and Mrs. Renuka Ramalingam, MBBS, MS, DGO.
In addition, the pool of experienced doctors undertook a comprehensive health checkup of about 200 persons from the Navy, Army and Air Force, as well as Defence Civilians and school children.
