A workshop on preparation of millets recipes was organised at INS Vajrabahu on 20 Jul 2023, wherein Mr Siddharth Niranjan, Head Chef, Reliance Foundation Hospital, Mumbai gave an insight into various preparations using millets. The workshop was attended by representatives of shore units at Mumbai and the preparations taught by the Chef were appreciated by everyone present. GoI had proposed to United Nation to declare 2023 as International Year of Millets and UN General Assembly at its 75th session in March 2021 declared 2023 as International Year of Millets IYM2023.
