On occasion of 24th Anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, ENC paid homage to our brave soldiers who laid down their lives fighting for our country. VAdm Sanjay Vatsayan, COS paid homage to veers of Kargil War in a solemn Wreath Laying Ceremony at 'Victory at Sea' War Memorial Visakhapatnam on 26 Jul 2023. A guard of honour was paraded on the occasion. Wreaths were also placed by VAdm VK Namballa (Retd) President Navy Foundation, Shri Saikanth Varma IAS, GVMC Commissioner, Shri Satyananadam Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer and veterans. The ‘Victory at Sea' war memorial at RK Beach Road, Visakhapatnam is a tribute our brave personnel who, in highest traditions of Indian Armed Forces, made supreme sacrifice during 1971 Indo Pak War. Homage is paid to our fallen heroes on important occasions like Republic Day, Independence Day, Vijay Diwas and Navy Day by placing a floral wreath at the memorial.
