Team COMCOS(W) planted over 60,000 saplings during a Tree Plantation Drive organised by Forest Department, Murbad (East and West), Maharashtra from 29 Jun to 21 Jul 2023. The plantation was undertaken at four different sites, namely Manivali and Vedhe in Murbad (East) and Patgaon and Shiland in Murbad (West) regions. The drive forms a part of Indian Navy's commitment to environmental conservation. The forest department was highly appreciative of commitment by team and a letter of appreciation was forwarded by Range Forest Officers to Indian Navy lauding the effort.
