The first-ever Financial Coordination Conference, organized by ENC at Visakhapatnam was inaugurated on 29 July 2023 by VAdm Biswajit Dasgupta FOCINC. Shri SS Pendharkar, IDAS, PCDA (Navy), Shri Avra Ghosh, IDAS, IFA (ENC), all CFA and IFA of Command participated in the discussions. The primary objective of the conference was to foster greater synergy among all stakeholders involved in Public Procurement processes. A dedicated session on GeM was also conducted during the event to encourage and emphasize optimal utilization of GeM portal in accordance with latest policies of GoI. By bringing together key personnel from various financial roles, the conference provided a platform for sharing of knowledge to address challenging areas and also aimed to streamline coordination, optimize resource allocation and enhance efficiency in financial management.
