30 BSF personnel successfully underwent 49th Marine Orientation Course at INS Chilka from 17- 28 Jul 2023. During the course, BSF personnel were trained on naval subjects like collision avoidance rules, navigational equipment, chart work, boat work, survival at sea, rope work, rigging, VBSS operation, anchor work, damage control and firefighting. In addition, regular sports activities were also conducted for trainees during the course. Constable Swapneswar Swain and Head constable Shashi Kumar stood first and second respectively in the course. Commodore NP Pradeep, Commanding Officer, INS Chilka awarded certificates to meritorious trainees.
