36th NHCC at NWC Goa was inaugurated by VAdm MA Hampiholi, FOCINC SNC on 31Jul 2023. In his inaugural address, he congratulated the course participants and lauded participation of officers from Friendly Foreign Countries for Maritime Security Course. He appreciated the efforts of NWC for enhancing the intellectual capital by improving academic and military education standards and emphasised on leaders of tomorrow to be future ready by integrating modern technology. CINC also touched upon future of Integrated Theatre Commands and advised course participants for peer/ experiential learning. The 40-week flagship course of Indian Navy is held annually at NWC, Goa focussing on National Security and Strategy, Maritime and Joint Operations and Technology transformation. The present course comprises of 32 officers from all three services and Indian Coast Guard. RAdm Rajesh Dhankhar, Commandant NWC, Goa welcomed the course participants and exhorted upon them to strike a balance between depth and width of knowledge being imparted at NWC, Goa.
