Second edition of Indian Navy Mumbai Heritage run 2023 held today witnessed over 6,500 registrations. The run conducted in two categories viz 5K and 10k started at Ballard Pier and went along Heritage sites of South Mumbai before finishing at Ballard Pier itself. The Run was Flagged off by VAdm Dinesh K Tripathi FOCINC WNC and Mrs Shashi Tripathi, President NWWA (Western Region) among the sounds of traditional Tutari and chanting of patriotic slogans by enthusiastic and energetic participants. The run was cheered by bands from Indian Navy, Indian Army, Mumbai Police and Sea Cadet Corps all along the route. Further, about 400 school children and volunteers also cheered the runners all along the route. The logo of upcoming Indian Navy Half Marathon was unveiled by CINC and it was declared that registrations for the same would be opened from 07 Aug 2023.
