41 sailor trainees of Hull Artificer Apprentice course, five Yantrik of Coast Guard and 94 Agniveer hygienist successfully completed professional training at INS Vishwakarma, Visakhapatnam on 09 Aug 2023. The hull apprentice were trained on operation and maintenance of various hull equipment fitted onboard naval platforms. The Agniveer hygienist were provided hands on experience in hull husbandry, arboriculture, disaster management and horticulture. The course completion parade was reviewed by RAdm RS Dhaliwal. Deepak Kumar, HA Apprentice was adjudged first in overall order of Merit and awarded FOCINC South Gold Medal. Abhijith KR, AVR(MR) and T Vanitha AVR(MR) were awarded Gold Medals for standing first in overall Order of Merit in male and female categories, respectively.
